Data Deletion Request

Last updated May 19, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your GRLD account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the GRLD mobile app (iOS and Android, published by GRLD) and the GRLD website at grld.gg.

How to request deletion

You can request that we delete your account and personal data in two ways:

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

  1. Open the GRLD app on your phone or visit grld.gg and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Settings (tap your profile avatar in the top right, then Settings).
  3. Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion. Your account is queued for removal immediately.

Option 2 — Submit the form below

Fill in the form and we'll process your request within 30 days. We'll reply to the email address you enter to confirm once your account has been deleted.

We'll reply to this address to confirm deletion. Use the email tied to your GRLD account when possible.

By submitting, you confirm you own the account associated with the email above.

What data is deleted

When we process your deletion request, we permanently delete:

  • Account information — your email address, display name, avatar, and authentication identifiers (including Sign in with Apple / Google links).
  • Collection data — every card in your portfolio and watchlist, along with grades, quantities, cost basis, purchase dates, and notes you entered.
  • Price alerts and notification preferences you have configured.
  • Saved searches, filters, and personalisation tied to your account.
  • In-app messages you sent to the Dexter AI assistant.
  • Subscription and billing records we hold directly (records held by Apple App Store or Google Play remain governed by their respective policies — you can manage those from your Apple ID or Google account).

What data we keep, and for how long

A small amount of data is retained after deletion:

  • Aggregated, anonymised analytics — usage events that have been stripped of any identifier linking them back to you (for example: "total searches per day"). Retained indefinitely for product analytics.
  • Transaction and tax records — invoices, receipts, and payment metadata required by accounting and tax law. Retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations.
  • Security and abuse logs — IP addresses, request logs, and abuse signals needed to detect fraud and protect the Services. Retained for up to 90 days, then deleted.
  • Backup snapshots — encrypted database backups may contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
  • Legal hold — if we are legally required to preserve data in connection with a dispute, investigation, or court order, that specific data is retained until the obligation ends.

Timeline

Once you submit a deletion request, your account is deactivated immediately and is no longer accessible. Personal data is removed from production systems within 30 days. Data in backups is overwritten within the backup rotation window described above. Once deletion is complete we cannot restore the account.

Questions

If you have any other questions about deletion or the data we hold, submit the form above and add your question in the "Additional details" field. See our Privacy Policy for the full description of how we handle personal information.
